About Me

I’m Cheryl, an artist and experienced Art and Textiles teacher with a lifelong love of creativity and making. Textiles have always drawn me in—the colour, texture, layers and tactile qualities that make them so wonderfully individual.

Through Cheryl Angela Studio, I create large-scale textile wall art that celebrates these qualities, bringing warmth, texture and character to a space. My work is created with an intuitive, hands-on approach, combining my love of art, textiles and beautiful materials.

I’m naturally warm and approachable, and I especially enjoy the personal side of creating commissioned pieces—getting to know what someone loves and making something original that feels completely at home in their space.
