TEXTILES

Textiles is a creative, hands-on subject where students explore fabric, materials, colour, pattern and design.

Students may learn techniques such as sewing, embroidery, appliqué, fabric painting, printing, dyeing, embellishment and simple pattern cutting.

Textiles helps young people develop patience, problem-solving, design thinking and pride in creating something unique.

FINE ART

Art gives students the freedom to explore ideas, thoughts and experiences through visual work.

Students may use drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, collage, watercolour, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, ink and more.

The focus is on experimentation, confidence, personal style and creative expression, not producing one “perfect” outcome.
